Consistency in faith is where real transformation happens.

Pastor Chris brought a timely New Year's Eve message about being rooted in maturity and how it isn’t a destination - it’s a journey. He taught that maturity requires a teachable spirit and consistency in faith, produces eternal fruit, and reflects God's glory. 

Walking in maturity is an everyday choice, especially one we should consider heading into a new year. With that in mind, how will you shape your resolutions?

Merry Christmas! On the Sunday before Christmas, Pastor Chris taught on The Cradle - The Cross - The Crown. He preached that Jesus is God with us, God for us, and God reigning over us. He is everything we have ever needed or will ever need and Christmas is a celebration of Him not just as a baby, but as King of the Universe.

How will you enter this Christmas season with that in mind?

Nothing about your journey is intended to be a wasteland.

Today we heard from Pastor Jodi Tomlinson and she brought a powerful message about being Rooted in Transformation. She taught that only God can take broken things and make them new. Only God can take ash and turn it into beauty. Only God can take heartache and make it count for eternity.

If we are willing to trust God with our lives, He will create something better than we could have ever imagined. Will you trust Him today?

Destiny Church exists to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to build an authentic Christian Community that supports Kingdom Causes. 

Today we heard from one of our elders as well as our Care Pastor, Dr. Elton Brooke. He taught on the DNA of not only Destiny Church, but the church worldwide. It is a place to connect, protect, grow, and serve. It is a place to come and give and receive from the Lord as well as the community around you. It is a necessary place.

We point people to Christ when we model His love for humanity through our love for one another and our service to others. How will you live that out this week?

Truth isn’t meant to wound, it’s meant to heal.

We continued in our Rooted series this morning with a lesson on the power of unity. Pastor Chris taught that unity goes out the window when pride walks in the door and that the humility required for that unity isn’t just a one-time decision; it’s a daily choice. When we aren’t grounded in truth, we are vulnerable to division.

When we choose unity, we’re not just maintaining peace, we’re building bridges. With that in mind, how will you walk out this week?

Our strength to endure doesn’t come from within ourselves - it comes from God.

We continued in our Rooted series today with a message on being rooted in strength. Pastor Chris taught that God gives us strength to endure, to comprehend, to surrender, and to overflow. Surrendering to His strength is not about giving up, but giving over to Him. 

God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness, and surrender is how we access it. With that understanding, how will you live your life this week?

God’s promises are unchanging, and He is faithful to fulfill every single one of them.

In the seventh part in our Rooted series, Pastor Chris brought a powerful message about being rooted in God's promises. He taught that they are backed by His power, not by your performance and that eternal promises give us something the world can never offer: hope that endures.

God's promises meet you where you are. How will you shift your perspective to live in that truth this week?

No matter where we’ve been or what we’ve done, God’s grace is an open door, constantly inviting us back into fellowship with Him.

Pastor Chris continued in our Rooted series today with a message on being rooted in reconciliation. He taught that our faith calls us to a higher standard – a standard where love transcendsdivisions, and grace bridges the gaps. We are called to be reconciled with God, others, and our new identity in Him. 

With that understanding, how will you live rooted in reconciliation this week?

Being alive in Christ means we live with purpose, we live with joy, and we live with the confidence in who He says we are!

In the fifth part in our Rooted series, Pastor Chris brought a powerful message on the true redemption that comes through the blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He taught that we are redeemed from death to life, from bondage to freedom, and from separation to belonging. Redemption isn’t just about being saved from something; it’s also about being saved into something.

With that in mind, how will you walk in redemption this week? 

Knowing God changes everything!

This week, Pastor Chris brought the next part in our Rooted series with a message about being Rooted In Revelation. He taught that sometimes what we perceive as a disappointment is really God protecting us, positioning us, or preparing us for something better that we can’t see in the moment. We have to live our lives reliant on the revelation of who God actually is. Even in your disappointment, God is with you.

When you know the future is secure, you can face whatever comes your way in the present. How will that revelation change the way you face your week?
