The closer you get to Jesus, the harder it becomes to stay impressed with yourself.

Pastor Chris brought an incredible message today about unity, humility, and leadership in our daily lives. He taught that you should fight for unity, not your way, stop making everything about you, lead with humility, and quit trying to be seen. You don’t have to announce what God already saw. He is a God who sees your faithfulness.

Pastor Chris brought the third part in our Forward series on the book of Philippians with a powerful word about what it means to live life with purpose. He taught that we are called to live for something bigger than yourself, build our lives around what we can't lose, let our lives match our gospel, and move forward together.

Pastor Chris continued in our series on the book of Philippians today with a teaching on what it means to stick to the mission when the method changes far more than you expected. He taught that your limitation can be someone else’s access to Jesus, your courage can become contagious, don’t let comparison distract you from your calling, and keep the main thing the main thing. 

Sometimes your faith becomes somebody else’s permission to believe God again. Will you hold onto the mission when the method has changed this week?

You don’t have to see something big to know God is doing something significant.

Pastor Chris kicked off a brand new series called Forward about the book of Philippians and man, it was GOOD! 

He taught that God can start something great in an unlikely place, what tried to stop you may actually move you forward, and God finishes what He starts. 

Your circumstances don’t get to vote on whether God is worthy. Will you live like His is, no matter the circumstances this week?

Being anchored doesn’t mean you’ve never been shaken. It means you’re connected to something stronger than what’s shaking you!

Pastor Chris finished up our Anchored series today with a message that is for everyone. He taught that we must know who our enemy is, we don’t have to run from what God gave us the power to resist, we are not the only ones in the fight, and this is not how our story ends.

The presence of a battle does not mean the absence of God! How will that fact inform your week?

Kingdom leadership is more about position than about title. 

Pastor Chris brought a an incredibly powerful message about the way that Jesus led and calls us to lead. He taught that we need to lead by example, not by control, humility attracts what pride repels, don’t force the door God hasn’t opened yet, and cast our cares, don’t carry them. 

Don’t let the wait make you question the Word of the Lord. He is a promise-keeper and it is up to us to trust Him for who He is. Will you trust Him this week?

Sometimes you don't discover that God can keep you in the fire until you're standing in one.

Pastor Chris preached a deeply personal message today that so displayed the power of God in our lives. He taught about being anchored in the fire and said that we need to stop being surprised by the fire, stop wasting what the fire can produce, make sure your suffering is for the right reasons, and trust God with what you can’t control. 

Faith isn't always knowing what God is doing. Sometimes faith is knowing God well enough to trust Him when you don't. Will you choose to trust Him this week?

You are not waiting on eternity. You are preparing for eternity by how you live today.

Pastor Chris was back in the pulpit today with a message that everyone needs to hear. He taught that with the short time we have in mind, we must stay clear enough to pray, love deep enough to cover, make room without complaining, and don’t waste what God has put in you. 

God has never needed you to have what somebody else has. He just needs you to surrender what He put in YOUR hands. How will you use what you have for His glory this week?

Jesus took the told way away and announced that a new way was coming. 

Pastor Jacob took to the pulpit today and brought a powerful message about the way Jesus foretold His own story through The Wedding at Cana. Instead of going to God, God has come to us and we become His people.

The old way was good. The new way is better. Jesus’ way is better.

Victory under pressure begins with decisions made before the pressure arrives.

Pastor Chris preached an incredible and timely message about how the future should change how you live today. He taught that we must decide before the pressure begins, stop feeding dead appetites, don’t be surprised when they don’t understand, and live for the audience that matters.
