Today we had the privilege of hearing from Pastor Jodi Tomlinson, one half of our Senior Pastor team. She taught on the importance and value of being rooted in inheritance. She taught that our inheritance rescues us, qualifies us, redeems us, reconciles us, gives us a purpose, and seals us. It changes everything.

You can leave what’s yours on the table or you can choose to own it. You are qualified. Now, it's ours to live like it.

Grace isn’t just about forgiveness; it’s also about transformation.

Today, we continued in our Rooted series with a message entitled “Rooted In Grace.” Pastor Chris taught that when we face trials, hardships, or seasons of doubt, God’s grace doesn’t leave us; it carries us. No matter what we face, God is working all things together for our good.

Grace empowers us to walk confidently in His calling. How will you walk confidently this week?

You don’t need to spend your life earning a title that God has already given you.

Today, we jumped into a brand new series entitled “Rooted” that is based in the book of Ephesians. Pastor Chris taught from the first three verses and said that we are blessed with purpose, blessed by identity, and blessed with every spiritual blessing.

The House of God is a place to gain understanding – it is one thing to know something, and it is another thing to understand.

Today, we heard from one of our elders and our Care Pastor, Dr. Elton Brooke, on what to do when we don’t feel the goodness of God in our lives. He taught from Psalm 73 about how Asaph transitions from doubt to understanding and trust.

We have to find a way to reconcile our perspective with the knowledge that He is actually good all the time. How will you allow that truth to color how you see the world this week?

Endurance empowers us to experience God's promise, embrace God's purpose, and exhibit God's power.

In the final installment in our Resilient series, Pastor Chris brought a powerful message that included the “greatest hits” from all of the messages. He taught that a faith that’s alive is a faith that doesn’t just sit back and wait for things to happen. It’s a faith that gets up, steps out, and takes action.

We want to be people of action, of great faith, and of prayer as we move into the last portion of this year. How will you change your daily life to produce those results this week?

Resilience isn’t just about how strong you are. It’s about how strong we are together.

Today, Pastor Chris taught from James 5:19-20 and how our resilience isn’t just a personal victory - it’s a communal responsibility. Community and accountability matter far more than we give them credit for these days. Resilience is not a solo journey, but it is built in the trenches of community.

Restoring the wanderer is a divine assignment. Will you accept that assignment today? You could change someone eternity.

Confession isn’t about condemnation, it’s about restoration.

What burdens are you carrying that need to be brought into the light? James teaches in chapter 5 that confession leads to healing. Pastor Chris said today that concealment leads to captivity but confession leads to completeness. If we stay in community and practice confession and patience, we will see breakthrough.

Sometimes the greatest miracles happen in the unseen, in the process, while we’re still waiting. How will you remain expectant in the waiting this week?

When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart.

Today’s message was a powerful one on the absolute importance of prayer. Pastor Chris taught that prayer isn’t just an item on our spiritual checklist; it’s the air we breathe as believers. Prayer should be our first response, not our last resort.

God wants to be involved in every detail of our lives, not just when we’re in crisis mode. How will that thought change the way you pray this week?

Patience pays off.

Pastor Chris taught from James 5:7-11 today and brought incredible insight about the value of patience. God is far more interested in who we’re becoming than in how quickly we get where we’re going and when we’re in a hurry, our vision becomes narrow.

Patience turns waiting rooms into classrooms. How will you see your time in-between this week?

Idolatry is trusting in created things rather than the Creator.

Pastor Chris preached a relevant and powerful message today on the importance of the ways in which we handle material possessions and wealth. He taught that earthly wealth has an expiration date, integrity with money matters, and greed distorts our reality. 

There is nothing in our lives that shouldn’t be brought under the Lordship of Christ. How will you change your view of your material possessions this week with that in mind?
