Life lessons on a donkey ride along the road to Jerusalem.

Today is Palm Sunday and Pastor Daniel brought a powerful message about the importance of the ride Jesus took into Holy Week as we prepare for Easter next Sunday. He taught that The donkey ride demonstrated meekness over majesty and that many people may approve of the Gospel, but few follow after it.

How will you reflect on you life with Jesus going into the week before Easter?

Anytime you lay something down on the altar, you'll find that you gain something much greater in return. 

In part 4 of our Resilient series, Pastor Chris taught on humility and wisdom and how the two go together so well. He said that wisdom is Godly insight practically applied to everyday life and that humility is a precursor to it. 

Wisdom is the anchor that steadies us amidst life's storms. Will you choose to utilize it this week? 

Our faith is tested in trial and tested faith produces.

Today we had the privilege of hearing from our very own Pastor Jodi Tomlinson and she brought a message about trials that will be worth listening to over and over again. She taught that trial is common to the human experience and that it has a way of turning us inside out so that we can inspect what’s inside.

God has given you seed in your everyday trials. Don’t waste it.

It's time to take back your joy.

Today, Pastor Chris jumped back in to our message series on the book of James and he brought a powerful word on the importance of humility and God restoring broken things. No matter where you're coming from, God wants intimacy with you. He wants you to know Him, no matter your insecurities.

Secure people don’t need to flaunt their credentials or connections because their identity is rooted in something far more substantial: their relationship with God. What is your identity rooted in today?

This week one of our elders, Dr. Elton Brooke, filled in and taught on the importance of sitting with the questions we have for God. There's an intimacy that comes from the questions he asks and our willingness to wait in the meantime for his answers to ours.

How will you approach God with your questions this week?

God's grace reaches out to those in the depths of uncertainty, offering them a chance to see and believe. 

This week, Pastor Chris kicked off a brand new message on the book of James and strength that prevails. He taught that God’s grace is sufficient in all things. That if His grace called you, it will sustain you. 

Jesus meets us right where we are, not matter where we are. Will you call out to Him today?

If you do your part, then you can be sure God will do His.

Pastor Daniel brought an incredible message this morning about receiving healing, forgiveness, and restoration from the Lord. He taught from the promise of God in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and that it’s a promise, but it is not a promise for everyone.

IF no one can tell that you are a follower of Christ, THEN you are not a good follower of Christ. How will you live out your faith for real this week?

When we know who we are in Christ, having our identity rooted in Him, we become relevant and are equipped to change the world.

Pastor Daniel took to the pulpit today and brought a powerful message about our identity in Christ! Identity leads to relevance and when we know who we are, we can gain a clearer picture of where we are headed.

How will you choose to see yourself and others this week? Through the lens of what has been spoken by flawed people or by God Himself?

Complaining is putting a period where God has placed a comma.

In the final part of our Unhindered series, Pastor Chris brought an incredible message about the power of our words. He taught that complaining causes unbelief to deepen and to grow. The repeated voicing of your dissatisfaction over the situation that God has you in won’t lead to any kind of true life, but bring in a death sentence. 

Sometimes the best thing that we can do to stay in faith is to keep our mouth shut. Where will your words direct your life today? 

Your pulse is proof that you have a purpose.

In part 19 of our Unhindered series, Pastor Chris brought a powerful message on time and how we manage it. Time is our most precious resource and when we steward it appropriately, we open doors for the miraculous. In other words, our faithfulness in the ordinary prepares us for the extraordinary.

Faith isn't a passive belief; it's an active assurance and conviction in God's promises and unseen realities. How will you prepare for the miraculous to take place in your life today?
