Obedience is the bridge between what God has said and what we actually experience.

Pastor Chris was back in the pulpit today and he brought a powerful message about the blessing of obedience to Christ. He taught that obedience is the echo of surrender.

You don’t obey to get saved. You obey because you are saved. Will you choose to obey the living God this week?

The grass isn’t ever going to be greener on that other side. The grass is greener where you water it.

Today we heard from one of our College and Young Adult pastors, Ashley Shearer, who brought a message about how community brings scripture to life. She taught that the Kingdom of God is a place to make a home in as we love others toward Christ.

Will you love and serve others in your everyday life this week?

You are alive with Christ. Alive with purpose, power, and with the Holy Spirit inside of you!

Pastor Chris brought part 13 in our Unshakeable series and taught about powerful lesson on freedom in Christ. So often, we forget that we’re not just dead to sin, but we’re alive to God.

Jesus didn’t die just to get you into heaven someday, He died to get heaven into you today. How will that change how you live this week?

There is no pit so deep that God's grace is not deeper still. 

Pastor Chris continued in our Unshakeable series with a challenge that grace doesn’t make sense unless you first understand how badly you need it. If you don't understand the need for grace you won't be able to fully receive it. 

How will you approach the concept of grace today?

Whatever isn’t growing is dying.

Today, we welcomed one of our Elders, Eric Cater, to the pulpit and he taught about growing in our faith. We learned about the essential importance of continuing to root ourselves in the soil of His Word so that we may continue to grow. 

A lot of people are walking away from the faith because they aren’t growing. We aren’t coming alongside them. How will this change how you approach the people around you this week?

If He loved you at your worst, then you don’t have to wonder if He still loves you now.

We continued in our Unshakeable series this morning with a lesson on love from Romans 5. Pastor Chris taught that unshakeable love moves first, changes everything, and secures your future. If you are in Christ, you have been declared righteous in the courtroom of Heaven. You have been set free!

Will you choose to move in freedom this week?

Peace doesn’t start with how you feel. Peace starts with where you stand.

Pastor Chris preached the house down this morning with a message about the value of grace in our quest for peace. He taught from Romans 5 that peace comes when you finally realize that your standing is not based on your perfection, it’s based on His payment. 

Through Christ we know that grace doesn’t eliminate the battle, but it guarantees the victory. How will that truth lead you to real peace through grace this week?

You may not see the full harvest of the seeds you’re planting, but someone will.

Happy Father’s Day! Today we received the next part in our Unshakeable series with a lesson in Romans 4. Pastor Chris taught that the greatest thing you’ll ever pass down to your kids isn’t what you put in their hands, but what you put in their hearts.

How will that change the way you approach those around you this week?

Today we welcomed friend of Destiny Church Pastor Rick Martin all the way from Belize, where he and his family are missionaries.

He taught that we need to meditate on our true identity in Christ if we are to fully live according to His will. If we don’t, the things around us will pull us away from that identity.

What will you choose to focus on this week?

Grace never gives you a platform to stand on — it gives you a Savior to cling to.

We continued in our series on Romans this morning with a message on the power of grace. Pastor Chris taught that when it comes to grace, you don’t earn it — you receive it and that you can’t boast in grace — you surrender to it. 

When it comes to our identity in Christ, the Cross settled it. How will that change the way you live this week?
