Life will autocorrect your plans without permission and God works with what we wouldn’t choose. Will you allow Him to make good from the bad today?

The Holy Spirit isn’t waiting for you to get stronger before He helps you. He meets you right in your weakness.

Pastor Chris brought a powerful message this morning on the importance of coming to God in our weakness. He taught that my weakness is not the end of me, it’s the entry point for Him.

Following God has always involved some things that don’t make sense to the natural mind but bring breakthrough in the Spirit. Will you choose to move toward God’s help instead of your own today?

Your weakness is not a liability, it’s a stage for God’s strength.

Pastor Chris taught this morning on the importance of enduring sufferings well. Your suffering is not a verdict of guilty, it’s often a vehicle for glory.

It is time to get on our knees and seek His face for revival in the midst of our sufferings. Will you choose to be hungry for the Lord today?

Unshakeable (Part 19)

The Spirit in you is greater than the storm around you.

Pastor Chris preached a powerful and timely message today about the Spirit of God and how important it is to listen to His leading closely. He taught that the Spirit leads through the Word of God, the peace of Christ, wise counsel in community, arranging steps and stops, and through conviction, not condemnation. The Spirit not only reveals the will of God, He produces the fruit of God.

God wants you to get where He wants you to go more than you want to get where He wants you to go! How will that change the way you operate this week?

Unshakeable (Part 18)

Whatever gets your attention eventually gets your obedience.

Pastor Chris taught a lesson today that everyone needs to hear about setting our minds on things above. He said that if the flesh holds your mind, it will have your life. If the Spirit holds your mind, He will lead your life. Your mind is the battleground of your life. 

What you set your mind on is the thermostat of your life. How will that truth affect your day-to-day this week?

Unshakeable (Part 17)

Condemnation looks back, but grace looks forward.

Pastor Chris brought an incredible message today about the power of living in the freedom we have been given through Christ. He taught that the Spirit doesn’t just set you free fromsomething, He sets you free for something. We are charged with taking that freedom and using it to love those around us. 

Stop living like a suspect when God already called you a son. Will you live like God loves you this week?

Unshakeable (Part 16)

The only part of you that God can’t use is the part you won’t give Him.

Pastor Chris was back in the pulpit today with an incredible message about freedom, surrender, and the life you were meant to life.

He taught that you’ll never walk in freedom until you stop seeing yourself as a prisoner on parole, and start seeing yourself as a son with a key. Surrender is the birthplace of true freedom. 

Jesus didn’t come to give you a hand — He came to give you a resurrection. Will you take it?

Family (Ben Chavez)

Jesus redefined what it means to be part of a family.

Today we had the privilege of welcoming longtime friend of Destiny Church, Pastor Ben Chavez. Pastor Ben brought an incredibly impactful message about the redefinition of one of the most important institutions on the planet: the family. He challenged us to hold ourselves accountable to the Word of God that we read. Once we know it, we can’t unknow it. 

The fruit that you bear is meant for all people. An Apple tree doesn’t produce apples for its own consumption, nor does it get to choose who uses its fruit. 

What kind of fruit will you be known by this week?

Unshakeable (Part 15)

Where you aim your heart is where your life will go.

Pastor Chris brought a powerful message today about the effects of living for eternity. He taught that living for eternity clarifies what really matters, empowers you to endure temporary trials, and produces a harvest that never fades.

If the enemy can’t get you to sin, he’ll try to get you to settle. Don’t settle this week.
