For part 31 of our All In series, Pastor Chris brought an incredible message (on his birthday!) about boldness and self-control. A lack of self-control will cause you to leave yourself vulnerable and defenseless. "Self-control is the mark of true strength and the pathway to real freedom. It’s the power to choose what is right over what is easy, what is noble over what is selfish. In practicing it, we align ourselves with God's will and experience the abundant life He has designed for us."

On week 30 of our All In series, Pastor Chris brought a challenging and transformative message on the importance of taking our words and our thoughts captive. In Acts 23, Paul demonstrated how to stand up for the Gospel while also remaining respectful of the authority around Him.

If I will guard my thoughts, I won’t have to worry about what comes out of my mouth.

Today, we welcomed long time friend of Destiny Church, Pastor Avi Mizrachi, all the way from Israel. He spoke of the need for the entire nation to experience the risen Christ and how that affects us as Gentiles in America.

In part 29 of our All In series, Pastor Chris brought a message about legacy and understanding. He taught that, it's not what you leave TO someone, but what you leave IN someone that matters. He also preached that you can be bold and humble at the same time. In fact, it is required of us as believers.

In the 28th installment of our All In series, Pastor Chris brought a powerful message about the power of sanctification in our lives. The life of Jesus is an example that there are moments when our silence carries more weight than a multitude of words. If anyone had the right to speak at all times, it was Jesus, and still, He often remained silent.

For the first time in nearly a year and a half, Pastor Jodi Tomlinson brought the message today and it was an unforgettable one. She taught on the kindness of God through all of life's difficult circumstances and gave us 6 keys to journeying through them well.

Complaining and looking back turn a wilderness into a wasteland. What will you choose today? Will you trust the God who knows you better than you know yourself or will you continually look back, destining yourself for a life lived in Egypt (the old ways, slavery to sin)?

This week, we welcomed one of our overseers, Pastor Gerry Chavez, into the pulpit and he brought an incredible message on "getting oil" based on Matthew 25. In this message we learned that we must keep "oil" in reserves for the hard times as we wait for the second coming of Jesus.

How do we buy oil?

1. Have a regular devotional time.

2. Walk in humility.

3. Pray for the fear of the Lord.

Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit will change anything. Are you ready and willing to accept that gift today?

God has repeatedly chosen those who, on the surface, appear unlikely and unqualified to accomplish His plans and purposes on the earth. 

For part 27 of our All In series, Pastor Chris brought a message about preparation time and personal growth. Spiritual maturity involves a process of growth and development. Preparation is not lost time.

How will you choose to handle the in-between time of growth in your life?

Any ministry work that God chooses to do through us, it's for His glory! 

On week 26 of our All In series, Pastor Christ brought a WORD about Acts 19. He taught that God doesn’t need to consult with us on how He chooses to operate on the earth. God can do whatever He wants, however He wants, and through whomever He wants!

God isn’t just interested in what we do, He’s interested in who we are. Who will you choose to be today?
